Would it be feasible to allow mixing flagSets with the top level configuration so that we don’t have to repeat the same settings each time?

The idea would be to define some configuration at top level, with the ability to override it within each flagSet.

For example, I’m considering having all my flagSets to use the same exporter, or the same pollingInterval.

Is there any technical issue to do so ?

You can actually do that already by using anchors in YAML.

Here is an example for sharing the same component in multiple flagset:

As you can see in this example I use the same retriever and the same pollingInternal configuration without repeating myself.
