• Your purpose in using this API:
  I am building a React Native mobile app called Sakinah, designed to help users access Quran verses, Hadith, and duas in a structured and meaningful way. The app organises content around emotional states and life situations authentically referenced in the Quran and Sunnah (e.g., sabr, tawakkul, shukr, etc.), and provides brief scholarly context along with memorisation tools.

I would like to integrate Hadith data so that users can view authentic narrations alongside relevant Quranic verses and supplications. The intention is to present the authentic content so that users can learn, memorise, and understand the contexts.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second: 1
  • Maximum requests per day: 100 (initial development and personal testing; expected to increase if user base grows)

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of Hadith data or programmatic API access?
  An offline dataset could work for stability and performance, I would prefer API access to ensure structured retrieval and easier updates. I am open to following whichever approach is recommended.

• What are the languages in which would you like Hadith data?
  English and Arabic.

• What programming language will your API client be in?
  The mobile app is built using React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript).
