Issues with markdown code blocks in Firefox #9184

What happened?
Hello, I've been having issues using markdown code blocks from Firefox for a little while now. I'm not sure when this started happening.
What I'm seeing is that typing in a markdown code block, certain keystrokes move the cursor and impair editing. This occurs when hitting a few different keys:
- Enter
- .
- /
I'm also unable to add newlines to the end of the code block. Requiring a workaround of adding some letter then adding newlines before that letter.
Steps to reproduce the problem
As far as I can tell, this reproduces on any code block when markdown is enabled.
- open existing note or create new using Firefox
- create a markdown code block using ```
- Start typing in the code block, hitting enter or adding periods or forward slashes.
- Note that the cursor jumps or newlines at the end of the block do not work
