Release PR auto merge after approval?

Recently I noticed that once I approve a Release PR from release-please--branches--main--changes--next to the main branch, the Stainless Github App would merge the PR automatically. In the past I had control over this merge action and could decide when to manually merge. Is this a design change or some settings should be put in place to prevent such auto merge?

Hi @yuanzhou,

Automatically merging the PR when approved is by design. I cannot see something that would have changed that on our end. It may have been that in the past we failed to merge due a transient github issue, or a networking problem, but if that's the case that wouldn't be the intended behavior.

Reopening this PR because today the auto merge stopped working. It waits me to manually merge after I approved the PR. hubmapconsortium/search-python-sdk#30
