What WindMar does

WindMar is a weather visualisation and routing tool for ships. It helps operators reduce fuel consumption and improve schedule reliability by planning routes using m high-resolution wind, wave, and sea state data.

The system combines vessel performance modelling, seakeeping constraints, and A* pathfinding to produce routes that account for real ocean conditions — not just shortest distance.
