I concur.
At this moment, version 3.5.1 (april 2024) is published in https://pypi.org/project/shotgun-api3/
the latest verison 3.6.2 (august 2024) is not.
Is the latest version stable enough to be used in production ?

I support this one, is there a reason why is not in pypi? Is because it is not production ready?

The biggest problem is that the pypi package is not maintained by Autodesk. Autodesk should seriously consider taking over the pypi package and not having it run by a third-party if they have security in mind.

I've just uploaded the latest versions. As @lithorus mentioned, the pypi uploads aren't maintained by Autodesk (see #99), so please forward future requests to me on #99. That way I can resolve your request more quickly, and we aren't bothering the Autodesk developers with something they've said they aren't planning to support.
