Prisma Browser: Add to "Apps with Tabs" and "Safari | Chrome | Firefox" if possible.

My employer is going to start requiring the use of the Prisma Browser from Palo Alto Networks for business browsing purposes:

This is apparently a fork of Chromium with a centralized security policy emphasis.

I tried using the gestures I have configured in Multitouch, and gestures mapped to commands like "Apps with Tabs => Open New Tab" and "Safari | Chrome | Firefox => Go to First Tab" don't seem to work. If it would be possible to add this browser, that would be appreciated.

Would you mind testing this out? Since I don't have a company account with Palo Alto Networks, I wasn't able to tell if it works or not:

Version 1.45 does not seem to work for me. The "Apps with Tabs" and "Browser" gestures I have configured continue to work fine with Firefox but seem to have no effect when running this Prisma Browser app.

I did notice one significant inconsistency with this application that I suspect might explain the failure. When I have the app focused, the menu bar item for the app is titled "Prisma Browser". However, when I hover over its dock icon, the tooltip says "Prisma Access Browser". When I look in "Applications" in the Finder, the relevant entry is named "Prisma Access Browser.app". Perhaps 1.45 is looking for "Prisma Browser" in a place where the app identifies itself as "Prisma Access Browser"?

Multitouch will recognize an app based on bundle id. I'll need your help pinpointing the correct bundleId to use:

1. Bring Prisma into focus
2. In the Multitouch menu bar menu, select "Disable Gestures for Prisma Browser"
3. execute the following Terminal command:
   defaults read com.brassmonkery.Multitouch disabledForApps

Let me know what that shows.

Thanks! This is actually what I have set in 1.45, so it'll take a little more investigation. To narrow things a little further, can you set a gesture to the keyboard shortcut cmd+t and make sure that executing that gesture is opening a new tab in Prisma?

(make sure that you have deselected the "Disable Gestures for Prisma Browser" enabled previously)

I tried a couple things with 1.45:

• Mapping "touch four, remove all but one, swipe up" to Command-T works as expected in Prisma.
• Mapping Control-Option-Command-O to "Apps with Tabs -> Open New Tab" worked in Firefox but not in Prisma.
• Mapping Control-Option-Command-P to "Browsers -> Switch Tabs Left" worked in Firefox but not in Prisma.
• Updating my gesture for "touch three, remove all but one, swipe up" to deselect "Focus window under cursor first" worked in Firefox but not in Prisma.

I am starting to wonder if Prisma has some sort of security feature that is interfering with Multitouch. I am also having problems on my Windows 11 work PCs with an app called "Mouse Without Borders". That app lets you control multiple PCs with a single mouse, where dragging the mouse off the edge of your main PC's screen redirects mouse movement and keyboard input to a secondary PC. When I have Prisma focused on my main PC, mouse movement is still sent to the secondary PC but keyboard input is sent to Prisma. That said, I'm not sure how to reconcile that theory with the fact that your suggestion to remap gestures to keyboard shortcuts still worked on Prisma.
