[BUILD] Unable to run Reflex on ARM based Windows 11 Home

Describe the issue

I have a Surface Laptop with Qualcomm ARM CPU, Windows 11 Home. When running Reflex, I see the following errors:

Error: Cannot find module '@rolldown/binding-win32-arm64-msvc'

Expected behavior

Reflex run should work and launch it on localhost

• Reflex Version: 0.8.24 post1
• Python Version: 3.13.9
• OS: Win11, HOME

are you using an arm64 build of python? i'm not able to reproduce on my arm-based virtual machine.

when you run python by itself, what version/implementation string is printed? i see the following

Python 3.13.2 (main, Mar 17 2025, 21:04:07) [MSC v.1943 64 bit (AMD64)] on win32

and it's working on my end.

I tried to install the arm64 version of python, but it wouldn't even get past the granian install for some reason.

another thing to try

1. install uv
2. mkdir my_project
3. uv init
4. uv add reflex
5. uv run reflex init --template blank
6. uv run reflex run

This installed a working version of python for me and was able to work on arm windows.

another thing to try is use WSL to run reflex on linux.

let us know what, if any, of these suggestions worked, and i can update the installation page to point future users in the right direction.

Yeah python installs ok for me, this is what I got: 3.13.9 (tags/v3.13.9:8183fa5, Oct 14 2025, 14:09:13) [MSC v.1944 64 bit (AMD64)]. Let me try your suggestions and let you know what I find out, thanks!

Hi just tested with uv and your standard way to init reflex, I see the same error. Maybe your install script didn't pull down the arm version of the package?
