Retire energy mix and scenario report

Situation

The visuals depicted in the scenario energy mix infographic and the texts and charts in the scenario report are outdated and can become confusing. They often fail to load when we change the modelling, and we only find out during deploy testing, which makes them even more of a burden.

However, these visuals rotate amongst many (potential) users, and often form a first step into the ETM. This is why:

1. We will keep the emissions infographic
2. We will need a page replacing the visuals, directing these users to another simple entrypoint to the ETM

Steps to take

• Remove the energy mix (all code, the slide where it is linked, the locales)
• Remove the scenario report (all code, the slide where it is linked, the locales)
• Create a simple page where users are redirected.

I have a slightly different suggestion:

• Remove the energy mix, redirect the link to the scenario report.
• Create one (EN version with NL translation) strongly reduced version of the scenario report: the scenario report should only show e.g., the energy flows sankey, the final consumption per sector, the CO2 emissions and the electricity production chart. This would effectively be trimming down the existing scenario report very strongly: the charts are already in there.
• Keep the text that you suggest

Our only concern is that adding extra figures/charts could clutter the message that people should contact us. We should be careful that people open the report, only see the charts and click away without seeing the message to contact us.
It could be beneficial that the report showcases some of our charts.

I suggest the following:

• We place the call to contact us at the top of the page and use a large header.
• We place a maximum of three charts directly below the header. We should aim to place them next to each other.
• The charts we pick should contain a sankey (preferably energy overview sankey), an hourly chart (electricity demand?), and a chart of a different kind.

Valid concern, I think we can address this by making the 'banner' with the message clear enough. I think three charts should be sufficient. In addition to the Sankey I would go for hourly electricity production and the CO2 emissions chart.

Perhaps @aaccensi can make a mock-up of how the trimmed down scenario report will look.
