Dead or alive ?

Is this project still alive or is it considered dead ?

Additional context
I am seeing a lot of PR (40+) and close to 300 open issues on this project, hence some minor but recent (~3 months ago) changes were made on the code (preparing a version 1.3.1) but I can't see any real progress lately.

That being said, this is just an attempt to understand the project's future - not judging anything.
I've been using this project for some of my stacks so it would be beautiful to see this alive and moving forward.

I'm guessing by the non-response and lack of any PRs since this question, the project is no longer actively maintained. Which is a shame, I created a lot of useful projects with RestX

I still use this extensively. No issues from my end.

I'm still here, just don't have a lot of time to work on things currently (and haven't for a bit). If someone else would like to become a maintainer / help out more formally, that would be great.

I'm still using restx for some of my projects too, so any major issues with flask compatibility will get resolved, but as it currently stands I don't think there are any massive blocking issues or high-priority bugs/security issues.

Unfortunately, flask-restx has really been superseded by other projects with much more powerful dataset descriptions and validation tools. Many newer systems have moved to Flask-Smorest (which integrates marshmallow) or Django API which are a bit more modern / maintained.
