Can't build. Fedora 40.

I do build by instruction. On this step I get error:

Okay, I built ortools from sources (it's really bloatware, is it really necessary for your project?). How can I specify the/path/to/ortools for building dxfplotter?

Or tools is required to optimize the operations order to save cut time.
Anyway you can download already prebuilt archive from google saving you the built time.
Otherwise I might considering making ortools optional.

Concerning path, you can either install it to /opt or pass it via -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=<path> when configuring cmake for the first time.

Okay. This error is gone, but now the problem with or-tools deps:

CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake/Modules/CMakeFindDependencyMacro.cmake:76 (find_package):
  Could not find a package configuration file provided by "absl" with any of
  the following names:

    abslConfig.cmake
    absl-config.cmake

Then I do:

cmake -B build -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=../or-tools-9.15/build/_deps/absl-build/

And I get:

CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake/Modules/CMakeFindDependencyMacro.cmake:76 (find_package):
  Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Protobuf" with any
  of the following names:

    ProtobufConfig.cmake
    protobuf-config.cmake

protobuf is also from or-tools _deps. Do I really need run cmake with every dep's path?

The next command doesn't help:

cmake -B build -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=../or-tools-9.15/build/_deps/*-build/

I just made ortools optional in this commit (074e843), you can try it with cmake option WITH_ORTOOLS to OFF (which is default)
