Possible to add people (persons)?

As far as I can see in the documentation and the examples, it is not possible to add 'people' (persons) with Python? Are there any specific reasons for that (security)?
(It would be nice to add person (name, surname, e-mail, password) with Python or from a CSV-file to avoid a lot of clicking. We're using self-hosted QFieldCloud v26.3.)

You can achieve this today using the Django shell.

I am closing this, as the quoted PRs are very likely to be merged soon and expanded in what they can achieve.
