MSYS2 installer failed

Trying to install jekyll on windows 7.
This is what is shown on the terminal after typing

ridk install

Run the MSYS2 installer ...

Installation failed: MSYS2 installer failed.

You might download MSYS2 from the official site: https://www.msys2.org/ and run
the installer manually.
Then you can use 'ridk install' to install necessary tools and to keep MSYS2 up-
to-date.

3 - MSYS2 and MINGW development toolchain

I can't test anything on Windows 7.

It might be difficult to get it running, as it may require learning about MSYS2. Also, the doc seems to imply that you may need to install an older version of Ruby. Maybe 3.0?
