Search very slow since latest release

• The issue affects the Notes Android app, neither the Notes server app nor the Nextcloud Android app.

Describe the bug

Since the latest Notes app release on Android, the main search seems to be veeery slow.

It takes roughly 5 seconds for search text that was typed to appear in the field and then filter the list. Before it was instant.

The in-note search is not affected.

Possibly this is due to some very large notes. The issue doesn’t appear in folders without those certain notes, but immediately happens when those notes are part of it. The notes in question are 35.6 kB and 41.1 kB.

Expected behavior

Search terms typed should show instantly in the search field and filter the list instantly too.
