build failed

hi.

i changed next's value and react's value to latest and ^18.2.0 respectively in package.json, and i set dependencies installation command to be 'npm install --force', then click the deploy button,it shows:

#2 The issue is mixed React versions. Next 16 needs React 18, but React 16 is still getting installed. --force hid it.

Here’s what to run:

set correct versions in package.json

react: ^18.2.0
react-dom: ^18.2.0
next: 16.1.1

then run these:

rm -rf node_modules package-lock.json
npm install
npm run build

If it still complains, update/remove old packages like react-highlight (they only support React 16).

That should fix it 👍
and do not use --force
