When an operator enables Bedrock-without-a-linked-Java-account on their endpoint, joining should work with an untouched config.yml - no bedrock-identity block to paste. Planned: the connect-java plugin ships safe defaults (trusts Minekube-signed identity via the built-in metadata endpoint, enforcement starts at warn), so installing the plugin + having an enabled endpoint just works. Today it requires a manual config block, which does not scale to every operator. Tracking the defaults change here so anyone affected can follow it or weigh in.
