@SlavaC1 I had the same problem. After uninstalling the extension, deleting the %AppData%\VSColorOutput and reinstalling it, it worked again. i would suggest you paste the contents of the file(s) in that folder into this comment.

I'm annoyed that i just deleted it instead of looking into the file... that might have helped actually finding and fixing the bug rather than working around it :-|

I had a similar issue -- the extension worked on one computer but not on another (same OS, same VS2026). The practical difference was that the computer it worked on had been migrated from VS2022, but the other computer only had VS2026.

Comparing the json files, I could see that the Regex patterns are missing from the second computer, which explains why it's not colorizing anything. Once I copied those over, the second computer worked correctly.
