Segments to Export are intermittently are jittery

Steps to reproduce

Since it is intermittent it is difficult to reproduce. I tried to snag it with both images and video and it won't capture. But the way it looks is that the visual element under "Segments to export" starting with the number 1,2,... N will move the rectangle down by the height of the number so quickly that it flickers. For example, right now I see 2 then the time segment and then under that I see that exact thing again. When this happens you can't read the text with duration, time and frames as they are flickering on top of each other.

When I first start editing the problem is never present. Then I press the "Split segment at cursor" a few times and the problem presents itself. Then a few more splits later it will go away again. This can repeat several times in a single session. It usually takes between 3-6 splits before it happens and then another 3-6 splits before it goes away. It usually affects all the 'Segments to export' but sometimes Segment 1 looks fine and the rest are flickering.

Version 3.67.2. No, I don't think it is the same issue. I can cut files without issue. SnagIt wouldn't capture the flicker but my phone did.

I forgot to mention that I did some trouble shooting like updating my video drivers, rebooting, etc. Nothing helped. When the flickering is occurring I still have full functionality. For example, I can cut, export, perform all menu items, etc. The only thing is I can't read clip duration and deselecting a clip is difficult since there are two circles with check marks to click on (deselect) and the actual spot you need to click is in between the two circles. If you want me to test a fix, I'm happy to. Amazing program! Thanks for making this!

Thanks for sharing. This is very odd. I'm trying to reproduce it but I cannot. to me it looks like it's not flickering though, it looks just like a static garbled mess of text. but maybe it's because your phone's shutter cannot capture the flicker because it's too rapid so it looks static? If you hide the segment list and then show it again, does it also flicker when coming back? what about if you close the file and re-open it? I will upgrade the virtual list library used in that list, maybe you can try again in the next upcoming nightly build.

On my actual phone, you can see the flicker, but my guess is that the frame rate is being dropped on compression when we upload it to GitHub. But nonetheless, there is a flicker. Hiding the segment list doesn't help. And if I close the file and reopen it, it will work for a while, but then it will happen again. It happens on every file that I edit. I rolled back to a couple of versions before this one, and it's working fine. Thank you for making this program. It is an amazing time saver.
