Failed Auto-Auth of Claude Code with Github Copilot

when i click the claude code, it suppose will be auto-authenticate with github copilot pro+ .

but it keep stuck in login prompt, even i use the terminal, it showed /login

i saw that OpenAI , we have option: use copilot account
but claude code doesn't have

The Claude Code CLI or Claude Code VS Code extension isn't owned by our team - it's owned by Anthropic and they don't have a way to sign in with your Copilot subscription. We've only partnered with Codex as of right now to offer a "sign in with copilot" button in their extension.

If you wanna ask Anthropic for this, it'd be good to get an issue going on their Claude Code repo:

That said, it's this option here that gives you the Claude Agent backed by your Copilot subscription (this is in VS Code's Chat UI):
