@saenara This is unfortunately an issue with whoever is packaging this extension for VSX. They need to update build pet into their package. I have raised this concern with them before.

Here is what you can do as a temporary workaround. Set python.locator to JS. and set python.useEnvironmentsExtension to false. That should get you back to normal.

Perhaps it's an output of the ms-python.python so I should open an issue there.
