What’s on the roadmap for the next few quarters?

Hi Evan Mattson (@moonbox3), Eduard van Valkenburg (@eavanvalkenburg), and the Microsoft Agent Framework core team,

I’d love to learn more about the project’s priorities and roadmap for the upcoming quarters.

Are there any major areas, improvements, or initiatives currently planned for:

Q4 2026

Q1 2027

Q2 2027

It would be great to understand the direction the project is heading and where the community could potentially contribute.

Also, if there are areas that are not yet finalized but are being actively explored, it would be helpful to hear about those as well.
