While performing maintenance on my Rock Pi 4C+, I considered the possibility of using an external microphone to capture audio streams as separate files, which can then be uploaded to the archive location either alongside or in a separate directory.

I might play around first with a script that does this external to any of the TeslaUSB functionality as a PoC, and then integrate it into my video merge tooling.

I have a script that concatenates video files using a time range input, angle(s), and encoding parameters, with the intention of providing a long-term archive of recordings in a convenient format. Adding some audio clips would be a handy feature, and relatively straightforward to add to this toolchain.
