Layer elements can not be removed easily once added

Observation

When working on a new cycling tour routes change and old routes become stale or invalid.
In the current implementation it is not possible to remove layers once added.

Maybe there is a way to remove these layers without creating a new map but it is not easily accessible.

Steps to reproduce

• Create a new map
• Add multiple gpx tracks in the same map
• Try to remove an imported gpx track

Feature implementation idea:

Let users remove imported/converted layers by providing an easy accessible way.

I'm motivated to contribute this feature to mapforge if desired but I want to make sure this makes actually sense and is agreed upon before providing an implementation if possible. Let me know if you interested in contributions

Great idea! It's already possible to delete a track in the 'advanced' tab of the feature details modal. I agree and already got feedback that this is hard to find.
Maybe the proposed delete function in the layers modal could re-use the same controller method.
Will happily take a contribution here :-)

It could also make sense to offer the option to show/hide single features, like available for the layers.
