Yesterday Apple released the first Background Security Improvement, the successor of Rapid Security Responses. This resolves a WebKit vulnerability on macOS, iOS and iPadOS.

🎛️ Interestingly, this new BSI has a dedicated pane in System Settings. If you are using update workflows, you can use this URL to programmatically open the BSI pane in System Settings on macOS and point users to the right place:

x-apple.systempreferences:com.apple.SecurityImprovements-Settings.extension
