Cannot apply changeset

Maybe I misunderstood the applyChangeset function, but it does not work when I'm trying to use it with an array containing an object.

it happens to me too. it seems it calls applyBranchChange(obj[key], change); where key is "$root"

Fixed in v4.9.0 — applyChangeset and revertChangeset now correctly handle root-level arrays. The issue was that the $root key wasn't being resolved properly when applying branch changes. Thanks for the detailed codesandbox repro, that helped a lot!
