59: if (ioctl(fd, MY_IOCTL_TIMER_SET, seconds) < 0)
and
74: if (ioctl(fd, MY_IOCTL_TIMER_ALLOC, seconds) < 0)
should be replaced by : if (ioctl(fd, MY_IOCTL_TIMER_SET, &seconds) < 0)
