Rendering Fails

When I try to run any of the benchmarks or demos with rendering enabled, I can only see

1. (what I can best describe as) a scrambled salad of triangles or
2. nothing at all besides the checkerboard & skybox.

I believe this to be related to issue eastskykang/raigraphics#1 but am filing this here as well with several additional examples applicable to SimBenchmark:
