How to map arrow keys

What problem did you face using the app?

I wanted to create overlay for up, down, left, right, but I didn't find the key code for that. The only thing I give was dpad-up and so on, not that didn't work.

What did I do wrong? Why are these keys so hidden, aren't those the most often used keys?

What do you think would make the experience easier for you?

Arrow keys should be easier discoverable.

Hi, arrow keys in Android use the same keycodes as the DPAD. There are no special arrow key keycodes

We are also working on some new ways to browse and choose key events, which we might start to introduce later this year. If you have any suggestions for how to make common keycodes more visible, please let us know

Hm, but choosing DPad didn't work. At least not in ScummVM. I tried it in a text editor and there it worked. But in ScimmVM, while all other keys work, DPAD keys send to not do anything.

Do other keys work in that app? It may be that your app just doesn't understand to inject the inputs into the VM

It is plausible that the way the app is detecting DPAD inputs doesn't work with how input methods inject key events. DPAD always causes headaches because they are special keys that behave very differently in terms of the APIs apps must use to detect them. I suggest upgrading to 4.0 and using expert mode
