          no surprise that the most memorable verse in Lamentations is one of the few lines that is not a lament. In the
          midst of great trials, Jeremiah reminds us that God’s mercy allows us to start anew every morning. Indeed, the
          Christian life is full of starts and restarts as we journey toward that Day that will never end. <br /><br />We
          often define “success” in our faith by what we produce. Maybe this is a product of our consumer minded
          culture. But the reality is we will fail and have setbacks as Christians. Our success can’t be based on
          success. A truer measure of “success” is faithfulness after failure.</span
