Installation not working ?

Hello

I've been trying to install this binary for over 30 minutes now, i'm moving to something else

go install logs :

go install github.com/jrhouston/tfk8s@latest
go: downloading github.com/jrhouston/tfk8s v0.1.7
go: downloading github.com/spf13/pflag v1.0.3
go: downloading github.com/zclconf/go-cty v1.8.0
go: downloading sigs.k8s.io/yaml v1.1.0

go: downloading golang.org/x/text v0.3.5

No tfk8s binary found on my VM

make install logs :

make install
go install -ldflags "-X main.toolVersion=0.1.8"

No tfk8s binary found on my VM

go version :

go version
go version go1.18.2 linux/amd64

Am i missing something ?

Sorry about your confusion @Theoooooo – you need to have $GOPATH/bin in your $PATH to access the binaries installed via go install. You can add it like this:

export PATH=$PATH:$(go env GOPATH)/bin

Hi @jrhouston , I have run the export directive you have mentioned above but still getting the same issue that @Theoooooo has claimed and cannot install the app. Any idea what is the cause? Thanks

$ export PATH=$PATH:$(go env GOPATH)/bin
$ make
