KUBE_PS1_HIDE_IF_NOCONTEXT=false not working

When i put the KUBE_PS1_HIDE_IF_NOCONTEXT=false in my .zshrc, it doesn't work and keeps saying: N/A:default when in no context.

Thanks for the report! This is expected behavior based on how KUBE_PS1_HIDE_IF_NOCONTEXT works.

When KUBE_PS1_HIDE_IF_NOCONTEXT is set to false (the default), kube-ps1 will still render the prompt even if there is no active kubeconfig context, which is why you’re seeing N/A:default.

For kube-ps1 to stay hidden when there’s no active context, set:

export KUBE_PS1_HIDE_IF_NOCONTEXT=true

Also make sure this is defined before sourcing kube-ps1.sh in your shell config (.zshrc, .bashrc, etc.), otherwise the default value will be used.
