I cannot look at this for a couple of weeks as I am away on the boat. If going back to a previous version of ndk fixes it the do that and raise a pull request against test plugin. I can then check it out and issue a new version.

Does anyone know when OCPN will be updated to the newer version of ndk?

Perhaps not an issue any longer.
