well he closed the issue citing 'I'm afraid I dont have the time to debug nnn, if you can come up with a reproducer involving just icat will be happy to take a look. For example a shell script that call icat and icat --clear in a loop, that will expose any issue in kitty.' |

I switched to alacrity, and use tmux for the preview, and to my surprised it perform even better than kitty own icat protocol, the image load instantly using ueberzug, even image as large as 30mb png/jpg, and tmux shortcut and functions is way better than kitty own tiling, the usage too is very efficient. I don't know i missed so much thing before this, man. |

I'm not sure if there is an obvious solution for this somewhere.
I couldn't find one in the issues or discussions.
when I scroll through a directory of screenshots for a game, the images disappear & reveal the background for a bit before loading the next image, leading to a flashing effect that messes with my vision.
is there a way to keep the previous image loaded until the next one finishes loading, rather than showing the terminal background for the time inbetween?
or should I make this a feature request?
