Preserving state with InfiniteScroll when multiple pages are open after performing a request

Hey,

InfiniteScroll is really great and working super easy but I've got a question about how it works when performing an action when multiples pages are loaded.

In my case I have a grid of images with manual load more and load previous buttons. I can load multiple pages and have them all open at once. That's working great. Now I want to add a delete button to the images in the top right corner. I use router.post and point it to my delete controller which returns back().

When I delete an image on page 3, page 3 is correctly fetched again, but then all my loaded pages are reset and only page 3 is showing.

Is there a way, to just patch in page 3? I looked at the merge functionality and looks like it's possible there, but maybe not in conjunction with InfiniteScroll
