Show new followers in the Notifications timeline

I just noticed that, contrary to most Mastodon clients, new followers don’t appear on the notifications' timeline.
Is there a rationale behind that, or is it just a missing feature?

I’m speaking about the notifications’ timeline in the TUI. It works as expected from the CLI toot notifications.
