UpdateChecker-Android

A library for simple implementation of available update on the store.

Checks for an update in the Google Play store and displays a message with a link to the store.

Only One Line!

Setup

Step 1. Add it in your root build.gradle at the end of repositories:

allprojects {
    repositories {
	maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
    }
}

Step 2. Add the dependency:

dependencies {
    implementation 'com.github.guy-4444:UpdateChecker-Android:1.00.02'
}

Usage

How to

    // Call with simple line
    UpdateChecker.checkForUpdate(this);

    // Or create custom strings for dialog - 
    String title = "Update Available";
    String message = "There is update available. We strongly recommend you update to the latest version.";
    String updateButton = "UPDATE";
    String cancelButton = "No, Thanks";
    UpdateChecker.checkForUpdate(MainActivity.this, title, message, updateButton, cancelButton);
