Currently it seems the only docs for this are on the plan diagrams page? (Reason: inhibitOnNull page.)

• This looks addressed. There are dedicated docs beyond the plan diagrams page:

• grafast/website/grafast/operation-plan.mdx has a “Layer plans” section plus a “Buckets” subsection that explicitly defines LayerPlan vs Bucket and lists the reasons a layer plan is introduced.
• grafast/website/grafast/glossary.md has separate entries for “Layer plan” and “Bucket,” with cross‑links to the operation plan page.
• grafast/website/grafast/flow.mdx describes layer plan boundaries (batch size changes, polymorphic partitions, combined layer plans).
• grafast/website/grafast/plan-diagrams.mdx still has the diagram‑focused explanations, but it’s not the only place.

So the issue (“only docs are on plan diagrams”) is no longer true as of the current tree.
