Can't save changes on the site

when I try to edit my site I get an 403 forbidden. But I am logged in as admin

The message is shown on page save or when loading the editor?

Does it happen only in admin or for other pages also?

Do you get a generic text only error message like this?

The second error message is caused usually by missing role permission.

The second message is shown by the http server (apache/nginx etc) and is caused by either apache mod_security or a low limit for SecRequestBodyLimit.

This is a common issue with mod_security, on save the content of the page is sent through POST and it often exceeds the size of SecRequestBodyLimit from apache mod_security.

A common workaround is to increase SecRequestBodyLimit to a larger value or add a rule to mod security #131

the error came when hit the save button. I got an error toast withot error message but logged into the console. I had installed vvveb into a subdomain. when using the main domain it works for some reason

This might be caused by different sessions (cookies) set on different domains.

You can try to enable shared session for multi sites/subdomains in /env.php#L50

when V_SHARED_SESSION is enabled I can't login anyway. When disabling I can login but sometime I cant save my changes. I got the following error log:

These wait cache errors show only when enabling shared session?

Saving not working is random? It's always the same error with permission denied?

Does it happen only if the page is saved after a longer period of time?

If this is the case then this might be caused by a low value for session expire time.

You can check the session.cache_expire value in admin > tools > system info > php
