l18n/translation support

If I have not missed it, there is no support for localization. While not a core feature it would nice to be able to translate it. So considering getText-support would be a future feature maybe?

Indeed it's absolutely no priority, it opens new cans of worms with text labels suddenly not finding anymore and it adds a maintainance burden I don't deem worth it. But I am open to be convinced if someone steps up owning it
