Rules on modifications after submission

Hi,

I'm wondering what exactly the rules are for modifications post-submission. Can we not change anything at all or are some modifications allowed? Eg fixing bugs, major or minor changes, code cleanup/commenting, adding credits, anything of the sort?

Oops, I was going to ask this precise question.
In my case, it was the addition of the engine files to the repo so people who'd want to test it right-away on their machines wouldn't have to download it separately. I hope it doesn't raise any inconveniances.
