Unity Web Builds

Hello,

I am using Unity to build the game for web.
So, i am uplodaing the build files and linking to it so that it can be downloaded as a zip file and played by opening the html file.
Is this allowed?.

Hi there,

I'd love to see it hosted somewhere so I can just direct my browser (and the judges) to a URL to play it. You can definitely host a playable version of the game on GitHub using Pages. These resources might be useful:

• Tutorial on hosting games on GitHub
• Hotfix, one of last years Unity-based winners for reference.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my unity build and github pages. I've pushed my web build (html and unity files) but I'm still getting a "page not found" when trying to visit the page. Is there anything 'special' we should do when building our Unity project to get it up and running on Github?

html file from your build has to be renamed to index.html and that should work if you have setup your page.
