I got many crashes trying to use it. It is not working

OL 8

ansible-cmdb -i hosts -t html_fancy out/ > overview.html

it crashed.

in ansible-cmdb I put at line 8 "python3"

My system doesn't have python loaded

The question is not clear to me but in case you are getting the error: No suitable python version found (v2.7 or higher required). Aborting error, you can solve it in the following way:

• Run sudo ln -s /usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/python (https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/673847/how-to-set-python-3-as-default-interpreter-in-linux) for setting system link (sym)
• Rerun ansible-cmdb out/ > html.html - which generated the html file available for viewing configurations.

Also there is no need to specifically mention -t html_fancy in the command as this template is always used by default...

sounds like that's a local environment issue.

Are there any error messages, steps to recreate with screenshots? Are you using pyenv/virtualenv?
