The ontext callback can fire multiple times for a single text node when data is streamed in chunks (as noted in the comment in your own code: "this can fire at any point within text and you might have to stitch together multiple pieces").

The issue is that your code sets flag = false inside ontext, so only the first chunk of the script content is captured. To fix this, move the flag reset to onclosetag instead:
