Blurry text

I want to use egui and I just cloned the eframe_template, but all the text is blurry.

For easier comparison, I set a specific font:

Here is the same text shown side-by-side in my egui app and in WordPad:

I tried using cc.egui_ctx.set_pixels_per_point() with various values but all it does is zoom the text. Since the text appears at the same size when I use the font size from default_text_styles() (12.5 pt) in WordPad, I'm assuming that the pixels_per_point must be correct anyway.

I also noticed that the text is gray while in WordPad it's black, but setting the text color doesn't help either, neither does adding weak():

The crate docs mention...

Make sure the texture sampler is not off by half a pixel. Try nearest-neighbor sampler to check.

but I don't know how to do that.

Anything else I can try?
