<h1>Das Friendslicht aus Bethlehem am 17. Dezember 2000</h1>

<p>Am 17.12.2000 haben unsere Leiter das Friedenslicht aus dem Berliner Dom abgeholt.</p>

<p>In der Tagesschau vom 17.12. wurde ein kleiner Beitrag zum ökumenischen Gottesdienstes gesendet. </p>
<p>Es gab auch einen Bericht in der Berliner Abendschau zum Friedenslicht.</p>
<p>Die Berliner Morgenpost vom 18.12. schrieb: </p>
<p>Friedenslicht kam gestern in Berlin an Das Friedenslicht aus Bethlehem erreichte gestern Abend Berlin. In einem Aussendegottesdienst im Berlin Dom wurde es an die Berliner weitergegeben. Im Zuge dieses Gottesdienstes konnte sich jeder Gläubige ein Licht daran entzünden und mit nach Hause nehmen. Das Licht war in der Geburtsgrotte in Bethlehem von einem palästinensischen Kind entzündet und von zwei jüdischen Mädchen zum Flughafen nach Tel Aviv gebracht worden. Von dort hatte es die Reise angetreten.</p>
<p>Der Tagesspiegel vom 18.12. schrieb:</p>
<p>Den Frieden in alle Häuser tragen Licht gleich Frieden, das ist eine schöne Symbolik und gehört natürlich in die Weihnachtszeit. Und so wird dann auch seit den achtziger Jahren alljährlich in Bethlehem eine Flamme entfacht und per Flugzeug nach Österreich gebracht, wo diese moderne Idee des Friedenslichtes seinen Ursprung hat. Dort treffen sich Pfadfinder aller Länder, um das Licht in die Heimat zu bringen. Seit 1994 beteiligt sich auch Deutschland an dieser Aktion; heuer kam das Licht am Sonntag in Berlin an, wo am Abend im Dom ein ökumenischer Aussendegottesdienst gefeiert wurde. Alle Besucher waren aufgefordert, eine Kerze an der Flamme zu entfachen und so den Frieden weiter in die Häuser zutragen. Ein Schuft, wer Arges dabei denkt. Und doch: Wo Licht ist, kann auch Schatten fallen, was vielleicht mit falscher Erwartung zu tun hat. Denn der Begriff der Ökumene wurde hier recht streng gefasst und fand folglich nur im kleine Kreise statt: Evangelische und Katholische Pfadfinder hatten den Gottesdienst am gestrigen Sonntag vorbereitet; jüdische oder moslemische Vertreter nahmen nicht teil. So gesehen darf es nicht wundern, dass es die christliche Friedensverheißung war, die insistiert wurde. Dass dabei das Glaubensbekenntnis gesprochen wird, ist dann auch selbstverständlich, aber warum wurde schon in der Vorankündigung schon immer wieder hervorgehoben, dass es nun gerade ein Palästinenser war, der das Licht entfacht und an eine Jüdin weitergegeben hatte? Warum wurden nur tote Palästinenser erwähnt, als aus der Presse über die Unruhen im Nahen Osten zitiert wurde? Und was ist davon zu halten, wenn die Forderung an unsere Politiker - also die des christlichen Abendlandes - erhoben wird, dafür zu sorgen, dass in Israel und Palästina wieder Frieden einziehen möge? Man hätte ja auch erwähnen können, dass in dieser Woche das jüdische Lichterfest Chanukka beginnt und die muslimische Welt auch in Berlin gerade dieser Tage Ramadan feiert, was einem ökumenischen Gottesdienst gut zu Gesicht gestanden hätte, auch wenn der abschließende Lichterkreis, den alle Anwesenden schließlich mit Kerzen in den Händen bildeten, tatsächlich wie ein Symbol der Hoffnung leuchtete. Man sollte auch nicht wohl nicht immer jede Geste auf die Goldwaage lege, aber gerade im Dom des preußischen Berlins wäre ein bisschen Frieden á la "jeder nach seiner Fasson" nicht unangebracht gewesen. Zum Abschluss wurde ja auch "Hevenu Shalom Alejchem" gesungen. Aber ach - was soll das Nöglen? Ist doch Weihnachten. Frieden auf Erden und den Menschen ein Wohlsein! Alexander Pacuvic</p>
<p>Kommentar: "Frieden in die Häuser tragen", so lautet die Überschrift des Tagesspiegel-Artikel vom 18.12.00 [siehe oben] über die Friedenslicht-Aktion vom Sonntag, der sich sehr kritisch dazu äußert. Wenn wir von vornherein so an die Sache gehen, wie der Tagesspiegel, dann hätten wir es auch lassen können. Hier wird übersehen, dass junge Pfadfinderleiter, die in der Wortwahl und der Argumentation nicht so geschliffen reden können wie dies der Autor (Alexander Pacevic) von Politikern erwartet, anders Handeln und Reden. Hier ist der Versuch unternommen worden mit dem Friedenslicht ein Zeichen zu setzten. </p>
<p>Die Pfadfinder vom Stamm Don Bosco haben eine Abordnung in den Berliner Dom entsandt, in dem während einer Ökumenischen Feier das Friedenslicht an etwa 300-400 Anwesende weitergereicht wurde. Es wurde der unmenschlichen kriegerischen Auseinandersetzung gedacht, an die Opfer und auch an die, die mitten in diesen Auseinandersetzungen stecken und täglich viel Leid erleben müssen. </p>
<p>Wir haben unser Friedenslicht dann im Auto nach Lankwitz zu den Christkönigsschwestern gebracht, die sich sehr gefreut haben, zumal wir ohne Anmeldung kamen. Danach führte uns der Weg zur Gemeinde von der Auferstehung Christi, wo uns die Küsterin schon erwartete. Zu Guter Letzt steuerten wir die Gemeinde Mater Dolorosa an, wo auch hier der Küster das Friedenslicht übernahm. </p>
<p>Ich denke mit dieser Aktion haben wir die Berliner, wenn auch nur kurz, an den Unfrieden im Heiligen Land erinnert. P.F.</p>
