Depreciated npm-dependencies causing project setup failure

Prerequisites

Expected Behavior

When I start the project after installing the node_modules (installed with --legacy-peer-deps`), it must start.

Current Behavior

It is throwing an error TypeError: g.on is not a function originating from @expo package.
