Just a heads-up: I've been testing some of my own packages for numpy 2.0 compatibility. I ran into the issue that mapbox_earcut is broken for numpy 2.0; it won't crash, but the result is nonsense.

There's a PR open for the wheels on the mapbox_earcut repo: skogler/mapbox_earcut_python#15

Unfortunately, it looks like the maintainer isn't very active anymore, since the PR has been open without response since May.

I'll try to get to that soon, but if anyone else can do a PR, that would be great.

I think this is all done. Older builds should be pinned to <2, and the latest build should be bumpy 2 compatible.

Please test, and close this if all good.
