I have been involved and active in the CNCF community for over 6 years now through organizing meetups, contributing code, speaking, conducting workshops, blogging etc. My employer is a leading cloud provider in Europe and I'm part of the Managed Kubernetes team. From recent experience at FOSDEM, local meetups, and conversations with university students pursing apprenticeship at IONOS, I could understand that there is still a large community that is new to the CNCF ecosystem.
I believe the chapter will benefit from my expertise and networking in the CNCF world, helping us target a larger audience and organize successful events in Berlin. Currently the meetups are OTel centric, and has built an audience. I would like to leverage on that and bring the larger CNCF ecosystem to everyone.
Also, being part of the Merge Forward initiative, I do all I can to build an inclusive community for everyone. My recent conversations with in the Community room at FOSDEM only fueled my mission.
It would be my great pleasure to help the current organizers team in their task to make this chapter a strong representative of the CNCF beliefs in Germany.
