After update the extension is stuck in a loading screen and has to be reinstalled

On Chrome (131.0.6778.69, Ubuntu) sometimes after an update the extension is stuck in a loading screen and so it does not work. The only workaround for now is a reinstallation of the extension, but this is not a good workaround as it is part of our admin-managed extensions and thus a normal employee cannot simply reinstall it.
