Add a featured page/post widget area on the bottom of the homepage

We frequently receive support tickets asking why there are blog posts on the homepage. For whatever reason it is very confusing (even to some developers) that there are posts showing at the bottom. I thought a good enhancement might be to add a Genesis Featured Page/Post widget area nicely styled to give more homepage layout options.

I'm actually working on a tutorial post for this on the current Utility Pro theme. I totally forgot I had entered it as a suggestion here :-)
